This research is motivated by the Covid-19 Pandemic where all gathering
activities have been temporarily suspended. There is a temporary suspension of all
activities, the impact is felt by the general public. The impact that the Indonesian people
feel covers all aspects of life, especially aspects of education. Education must continue
in any situation and condition, including in this situation. With this termination, the
government through the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 4 of 2020,
appealed to educational institutions to carry out online learning. The purpose of this
study is to find out how the thematic learning process uses an online system of planning,
implementation and assessment.
This study uses a qualitative research method with data sources for class teachers,
school principals and students and data collection techniques using interview and
documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques used data collection, data
reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verification, checking the validity of
the data using data triangulation and member check.
Based on data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) Thematic
learning planning activities using an online system carried out in class III MIS Bawari
Pontianak begins with a sudden meeting conducted by the principal and class teachers
to discuss the appeal from the government, the use of RPP & The syllabus continues to
use the 2013 Curriculum. 2) Technical on online learning, making learning schedules,
providing free Wi-Fi, determining the network used, namely the Whatsapp Group. 3)
Activities for implementing thematic learning using an online system carried out in
class III MIS Bawari Pontianak runs using Whatsapp Group for technically class
teacher provides a schedule, which is every Monday-Thursday at 09.00-11.00. The
teacher will begin this online learning by submitting sub-themes and objectives
followed by material, for material sent in picture format and for explanation using voice
notes, after the material and explanation is delivered, the class teacher opens a question
and answer forum and when it is ended, the class teacher will immediately give daily
assignments to students. 4) Thematic learning assessment activities using an online
system carried out in class III MIS Bawari Pontianak runs by providing 2 types of
assessments, namely Quantitative on the Daily Test and Qualitative in Semester
Deuteronomy, this is because the assessment guidelines circulated by the Director of
Islamic Education were only circulating on the 18th. May 2020, while MIS Bawari
Pontianak has conducted Daily Test Activities. So in this online learning the report have
used qualitative values. |
