dc.description.abstract ENGLA NURJANNAH, 12017017, The Impact of Quizizz Application on Students’ Vocabulary Mastery in English Learning at MAN 3 Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2023/2024: Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, English Tadris Study Program, State Institute for Islamic Study of Pontianak, 2024 This study aims to: 1) investigate students' vocabulary before using the Quizizz application at MAN 3 Pontianak, 2) describe the Quizizz application step by step, and 3) investigate students' vocabulary after using the Quizizz application at MAN 3 Pontianak. This research is motivated by the low interest of students in learning English, which impacts the vocabulary deficiency among eleventh-grade students at MAN 3 Pontianak. The method used is quantitative with an experimental approach, conducted at MAN 3 Pontianak, involving class XI IPS 1 as the control group and XI IPS 2 as the experimental group. Data were collected through tests, documentation, and instrument trials, and were analyzed quantitatively using SPSS 24 for validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing. The results indicate that the average pretest score for the control class was 36 (very less) and 52 (less) for the experimental class. After the intervention, the average posttest score for the experimental class increased significantly to 82 (very good), while the control class remained at 36 (very less). The Independent Sample T-Test showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between class taught with and without Quizizz application. Based on these findings, it is recommended that educators at MAN 3 Pontianak integrate the Quizizz application into their English language curriculum to improve students' vocabulary mastery. The interactive and engaging features of Quizizz can provide a dynamic learning experience that supports better retention and understanding of vocabulary. Additionally, it is advised to periodically assess the effectiveness of Quizizz through feedback and performance metrics to continually refine its use and maximize its impact on students' learning outcomes. en_US
