This study investigated the implementation of differentiated learning in the seventh grade at MTs Negeri 1 Pontianak, focusing on how teachers adapt their teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students. The research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing observations, interviews, and document analysis to gather data.
The findings revealed that differentiated learning was effectively implemented through various strategies, including content, process, and product differentiation. Teachers utilized diagnostic assessments to identify students’ learning styles and preferences, allowing for tailored instructional approaches. The study highlighted the supporting factors of differentiated learning, such as increased student engagement and improved understanding of the material. However, the inhibiting factors, such as varying language proficiency levels among students and time constraints, were also identified.
The research concluded that while differentiated learning presents certain obstacles, its implementation significantly enhances the learning experience for students, fostering a more inclusive and effective educational environment. |
