Islamic Educational Values in the Balalek Tradition of Seburing Village

Islamic Educational Values in the Balalek Tradition of Seburing Village
Sabran, Ma'ruf Zahran; Juliansyah, Juliansyah; Rasyid, Abdur
This study explores the Islamic educational values embedded in the Belalek tradition practiced by the Malay community of Seburing Village, Sambas Regency. Belalek is a local agricultural cooperation system rooted in mutual assistance (ta'awun) and community solidarity. Beyond its functional purpose in farming, this tradition embodies moral, social, and spiritual values that align with Islamic teachings. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to analyze how Islamic values are internalized in social practices. The findings reveal that Belalek contains three core dimensions of Islamic education: (1) Aqidah values, reflected in the farmers' belief that success and harvest are granted by Allah SWT, fostering faith and gratitude; (2) Ibadah values, manifested through sincere intention, cooperation, and collective prayer before work; and (3) Akhlak values, evident in honesty, responsibility, discipline, and respect among participants. These dimensions demonstrate the integration of hablum minallah (relationship with God) and ḥablum minannās (relationship with others). The Belalek tradition, therefore, functions as a medium of informal Islamic education and a form of cultural da'wah that strengthens social harmony. In the context of modernization and the decline of communal culture, revitalizing Belalek can serve as a model for character education based on local Islamic wisdom.

Implementation of inclusive education for early childhood at RA Raudatul Athfal As-Sajdah Makkiyah North Pontianak
Azzahra, Nurma Annisa
Inclusive education is an educational service that includes children with special needs
together with children their age in regular schools. RA As-Sajdah Makkiyah is one of
the inclusive education programs in Pontianak City. Based on the results of
observations, there is one deaf child in class A and several teachers who do not
understand the existence of inclusive education because they are new teachers, so in
class learning they do not use learning models that can help the teaching and learning
process in inclusive classes. The research focus in this study is the implementation of
inclusive education at RA As-Sajdah Makiyah Pontianak. This research uses a
qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Primary data in this research was
obtained from direct interviews with school principals and teachers, while secondary
data included documentation, RPPH and the curriculum implemented in schools. Data
collection techniques in this research are observation, documentation and interviews.
The results showed that the 2013 curriculum adapted from the government, but for
children with special needs, the class teacher made a modified curriculum according
to the abilities of children with special needs. The approach to crew members is an
individual approach. The learning process in terms of learning objectives and learning
materials used is the same for regular children and ABK, the difference is that ABK do
not have special accompanying teachers like other inclusive schools.

for west Kalimantan traditional game resources the author obtained through observation
and interviews , documentation, data analysis and data reinforcement, and evidence of
the implementation of research activities. Meanwhile, the locus of this study was
conducted in the Coastal area of West Kalimantan, which focused on Tanjung Satai
Village, Pulau Maya District, North Kayong Regency. This coastal area refers to the village
area on the island surrounded by the sea, namely the Karimata Strait. This research shows
that the results of West Kalimantan traditional games, especially Mimi and Kotaplus, can
stimulate the development of early childhood language aged 6 to 6 years. In addition, the
presence of hand movements in the game stimulates the physical-motor and cognitive
