Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) the forms of discipline that
were used by the teacher in disciplining students to carry out congregational zuhur
prayers at the Tsanawiyah Aswaja madrasah, (2) the methods used by the teacher
in disciplining students to carry out congregational zuhur prayers at Madrasah
Tsanawiyah Aswaja, ( 3) what factors influence the teacher's efforts to discipline
students to carry out the noon prayer in congregation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah
Aswaja.
This research is a qualitative research. The data source of this research
consists of primary data and secondary data. Primary sources and secondary
sources, namely: (1) secondary sources are school principals and fiqh teachers or
data related to teachers' efforts to discipline students in the implementation of
congregational prayer, (2) secondary sources are books, theses, journals related to
the teacher's efforts to discipline students in the implementation of congregational
zuhur prayer. The technique used to collect data is the observation technique by
observing and recording data related to the teacher's efforts to discipline students in
the implementation of congregational noon prayers. Direct communication
techniques with interview guidelines and documentation techniques. Meanwhile, to
analyze the data, researchers used an interactive model analysis.
Based on the analysis carried out, the researchers concluded that, (1) the form of
discipline carried out by the teacher in disciplining students in the implementation
of the Zuhur prayer congregation at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Aswaja by providing
rules, punishment, appreciation and consistency, (2) the method used by teachers in
disciplining students in the implementation of congregational zuhur prayers at
Madrasah Tsanawiyah Aswaja by enforcing preventive and repressive measures,
(3) Factors that affect the effort to carry out zuhur prayer in congregation at
Madrasah Tsanawiyah Aswaja because of internal and external factors that can
hinder the running of discipline in the implementation of the congregational noon
prayer.
